“I continue to volunteer with HCHSA because the staff are friendly, welcoming, and truly thankful that the volunteers are there to help. Plus, there is a variety of events to help with.”

“My favorite event is the Gateway to Gold. I find that event so inspirational! I especially love the keynote lunch time speeches and Q&A with the Paralympic athletes and the coaches. I love the idea that I’m working with future Paralympians and I love seeing their progress from year to year in the various sports. “

“Since volunteering with HCHSA I have experienced a variety of activities. They have ranged from logistics, telecommunications, supervision and many more. I enjoy what the HCHSA does in all types of sports. Those I had no familiarity with were the most fun.”
