The 2030 WMA Outdoor Championships Will Take Place June 8-20, 2030, in Partnership with the Harris County–Houston Sports Authority
World Masters Athletics and the Harris County–Houston Sports Authority announced that Houston, Texas, in the United States, will host the WMA Outdoor Championships in 2030 following a vote by the WMA General Assembly.
Masters athletes from across the globe will descend upon Houston for a world-class celebration of competition, camaraderie, and lifelong athletic excellence. The WMA Outdoor Championships are the premier athletic and track and field championship for athletes ages 35 and older. The event regularly draws more than 8,000 athletes from more than 100 countries.
The 2030 host city vote occurred during the 2026 WMA Outdoor Championships in Daegu, South Korea. The Harris County–Houston Sports Authority led the bid process and presented to the WMA General Assembly before the final vote.

The announcement that Houston will host the event in 2030 marks the first time the Outdoor Championships have been held in the United States since 2011.
