The ITTF Americas U11 & U13 Championships are set to begin at the Houston International Table Tennis Academy (HITTA) and will run from September 9–16, with competition taking place daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The championship will showcase the depth and diversity of the next generation of table tennis talent in the Americas with 12 countries present in Houston: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the United States.
A total of 152 young athletes — 79 boys and 73 girls — will take to the tables, representing their countries and regions while taking another important step in their development as athletes.
A stage built for the next generation
The fantastic Houston International Table Tennis Academy will provide the perfect setting for this continental celebration, while also showcasing its newly upgraded facilities. Located at 923 South Mason Road, Suite A, Katy TX 77450, HITTA is ready to welcome the young talents of the Americas for eight days of intense competition. With seven competition tables in action, every match, every point and every experience will become part of the young athletes’ journey toward high-level competition. Together with ITTF Americas and USA Table Tennis, HITTA is committed to creating an environment where these young players can compete, learn and enjoy an experience that could become a defining moment in their sporting careers.
Home representatives
With 16 boys and 16 girls competing, the United States will be the largest delegation competing in Houston, adding an extra layer of excitement as the home team takes on the best young talent from across the Americas. Eight days of competition, seven active tables and hundreds of matches await — a celebration of talent, passion, determination and the dreams of a generation just beginning to make its mark.
